How care works

Designed with intention, not a template.

Each treatment plan is built around your history and goals. Here's what to expect from the first visit through ongoing care.

01

Consultation

We start with a thorough intake, medical history, current concerns, labs, cycle data, and the goals you walked in with.

02

Plan

Each plan is built around your situation. Frequency, timing, and modality are chosen with intention, not a template.

03

Treatment

Acupuncture, customized herbal medicine, nutritional and lifestyle guidance, and Chinese physical therapy where it helps.

04

Ongoing care

We adapt as you progress. The plan evolves with cycle phase, season, and the body's response to treatment.

Frequently asked

Practical answers.

Quick clarity on what acupuncture feels like, what to expect, and how insurance, scheduling, and integration with your medical team work.

The needles used are extremely fine, about the width of a human hair. Most patients feel only a light pressure or warmth at the point, and many find treatments deeply relaxing.
It depends on the condition. Acute issues can resolve in a handful of sessions. Fertility, chronic pain, and hormonal patterns typically benefit from a consistent course of weekly or twice-weekly visits over 8–12 weeks before reassessing.
We are out-of-network with most insurers. We provide a superbill at the end of each visit that you can submit for reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.
FABORM (Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine) signifies advanced post-graduate study in reproductive endocrinology and integrative fertility care. Not all acupuncturists are trained in reproductive medicine, this credential is the standard for it.
Yes, most fertility patients are. Care is designed to thoughtfully complement IVF, IUI, and other conventional treatments, with timing built around cycle phase and transfer dates.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Eat something light an hour or two before. Bring any recent labs, imaging, or cycle data if relevant. The first visit is 90 minutes, an extensive intake followed by your first treatment.
