Acupuncture in Silver Lake, Rooted on Sunset Drive
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. Two decades treating pain, fertility, and stress, always by Dr. Lashai herself, never rotated between practitioners.

Acupuncture in Silver Lake, on Sunset Drive.
I have practiced acupuncture since 2005, and for years my patients have come to me from every corner of this neighborhood. My clinic sits on Sunset Drive, and if you are searching for acupuncture in Silver Lake, here is what I want you to know before you book anywhere: the needles are the least interesting part. What matters is the diagnosis behind them, the training of the person holding them, and whether that person talks to the rest of your medical team. That is the practice I have built here.
I hold a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, I am licensed by the California Acupuncture Board and certified by NCCAOM (now NCBAHM), and I supervise doctoral interns as a Clinical Attending Supervisor at Yo San University. You will always be treated by me, not rotated between practitioners.
What does acupuncture treat?
Acupuncture is used to support a wide range of conditions, with the strongest evidence and clinical experience in three areas: pain, reproductive health, and stress-related conditions. In my Silver Lake practice that looks like chronic back and neck pain, sciatica, migraines, and sports injuries; fertility care including IVF and IUI support; hormonal transitions from PCOS to perimenopause; and the sleep, digestion, and anxiety patterns that stress drives.
It is not a cure-all, and I will tell you plainly if I think your condition needs a physician first. What acupuncture does reliably well is regulate: circulation, the nervous system, and the hormonal signaling your body depends on.

What patients say.
★★★★★Across the past decade, Jeiran has been one of the most important effective medical care providers I've seen, and that includes a cadre of renowned specialists at Cedars Sinai, and well known IVF clinics. She is thorough and diagnostic yet pragmatic.
Melissa S., Google review
★★★★★I came to Jeiran barely able to walk because of horrible pain... after my first visit I was already feeling relief. She is thorough and no nonsense.
Anna C., Google review
★★★★★She is a wizard with needles and knowing what to do. Highly recommend if you're looking for improved mobility, better health and or less pain.

Chinese medicine that talks to Western medicine.
Most of my patients also have a physician, a specialist, or a fertility clinic. I consider that a feature. I read your labs, I understand your medications, and when it helps your care, I coordinate directly with your doctors. Chinese medicine gives me a diagnostic lens Western medicine does not use, patterns of circulation, temperature, and constitution, and the combination catches things either system misses alone.
A treatment plan here may include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, or tui na bodywork, chosen for your pattern rather than applied as a menu.
